I wanted to thank you guys for the comments. It keeps me inspired to update! I'll be back in California tomorrow night and will post pictures of the new duckies - Buster is the male and Buddy is the female.

Do you notice a trend here? George is the female rabbit... Hmmm Maybe it's because I had 2 sons that I like boy names?

hello from PlantSwap. i wanted to see what you created. cool. i am here in petaluma calif. 26 acres. 11 mexican roping cows, 3 horses, 5 goats, 500 gophers.

Rick I'm so jealous of the 26 acres, but not of the 500 gophers! What's a mexican roping cow?

If I ever get enough land, I want Dexter cows. They are only about hip high when full grown and still give almost as much milk as a Jersey.

Thanks for your posts - I'm really enjoying seeing your journey. You are so good about taking and posting pictures. I've written a few blogs over the years and I always get lazy about that. I would love it if i could comment on each post (or just whenever i feel inspired to), but I don't see that option on your blog, so I'm posting here. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see what grows in your garden :-)

The guy was quite good at explaining the whole mealworm process on youtube -what made me watch, I still don't know! Are you in contact with Brandon? Maybe you could do a home-swap & work each others farms for a week. Love ya!

Hi Priscilla - yes I am in contact with Brandon. I am so jealous of his farm. Did you know that he even chops his own wood. And Shantal is amazing! She makes her own soap... how does she do all that with a full time job, 2 kids and a husband??? They are truly inspirational to me.
(Aren't mealworms cool, and gross too! - Love them.)

I've looked on here now and then and have enjoyed reading about your dogs, goats and garden.
