This recipe I got from Sharon, my boyfriend's mom.
1 head lettuce 2 - 3 green onions, chopped 1 cup chow mein noodles 2 - 3 Tbls sesame seeds 6 ounces cashews, chopped 4 strips bacon, cooked crispy and chopped (or bacon bits - which is not meat)
Dressing: 4 Tbls sugar 2 tsp Accent 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 6 Tbls vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup water
Mix the lettuce and onion. Just before serving add the noodles, cashews, bacon and sesame seeds; mix the dressing ingredients and pour about 1/2 of the mix over the salad. Mix well. Enjoy.
